Who is hans Cummings?

Hans Cummings grew up in both the United States and Germany. As a child, he resided in Virginia, Indiana, and Germany, returning to Indiana at the age of 21. He is now living with his wife in Indianapolis.

Hans graduated from Indiana University in 2006 with a BA in English (Creative Writing). As an author, he has released the Zack Jackson series of young adult science fiction novels and the World of Calliome high fantasy novels, with more on the way!

After over two decades working for corporate America, Hans became a professional voice actor in 2022. In the years since, he’s narrated thousands of videos for content creators, performed in animation projects, video games, audiodramas, and live theater. He is a current cast member of I Should Roll, a fan-produced Mass Effect expanded universe actual play podcast.

Hans encourages young people to indulge their curiosity and passion for science and exploration. Fear the Boot’s Sojourn speculative fiction anthologies include two of his short stories, and he received third place for Best Local Author in Nuvo’s Best of Indy, as well as a 2015 nomination.

In his free time, Hans enjoys tabletop and video games, and cooking.
