I currently have two projects in the works:
Iron Fist of the Oroqs, the sequel to Wings of Twilight. I finished the first draft in October and it is currently being proofread, edited, and peer reviewed. I’ll probably start revisions on it in January with the goal of having it available sometime in May. Iron Fist of the Oroqs continues the story of Sarvesh and the denizens of Twilight Dungeon as they try to cope with the realities of fitting into a world that isn’t used to the idea of “monsters” having a city of their own.
Zack Jackson and the Cult of Athos, is the first in a series of Young-Adult Science Fiction novels. It starts with the tale of a Junior Ranger camping trip gone awry, 260 light years away from Earth. The sci-fi will be harder than space opera, though obviously some concession to storytelling will be made because I’ll have faster-than-light travel. Subsequent stories will follow Zack as he grows up in a the galaxy as the Earth-Alpha Centauri Alliance integrates into the Galactic Confederation. I hope to have enough well-presented scientific concepts that it will stimulate young minds into learning more about the universe in which we all live. I’m about 1/3 of the way into the first draft right now. I anticipate this one being ready by May, too, though it might linger into early Summer, depending on editorial accessibility.
