Today’s post is by my wife in honor of her friend, author Bryan Fields.
I first met Bryan going on five years ago and have been one of his beta readers on two of the novels in the Dragonbound series as well as one of his other novels. Bryan has been battling cancer for the last couple years and recently received a diagnosis of glioblastoma—the same type of cancer that took Senator John McCain—Bryan’s third primary cancer since 2015. He is now receiving hospice care and is at home with his family.
A group of authors have banded together to promote Bryan’s work—to help somehow support Bryan as he faces this new diagnosis. Over the next weeks, each participating author will post on their social media and blogs (if applicable) to give Bryan the most comprehensive exposure we can.
His stories are good. His characters are compelling. I find myself wanting to read all the way through in one sitting. Life with a Fire-Breathing Girlfriend is the first novel in Bryan’s Dragonbound Chronicles and is a great introduction to his storytelling style; however, it is not available in Kindle format at this time.
